AI for Good Summit: enabling AI for health innovation and access
Composed and took part in the "Strategy and Frameworks" panel of the AI for Good Summit session on health, presenting Integrity-Driven Health AI.
Enabling AI for health innovation and access was a session of the AI for Good Global Summit, held in Geneva on 11 July 2025. It was hosted by the ITU, the WHO and WIPO, the founding UN agencies of the Global Initiative on AI for Health, and addressed the demands and inequities facing health systems: interoperability, ethical policy, and the scalable deployment of AI in health.
I composed and took part in the session’s first panel, Strategy and Frameworks, with a presentation on Integrity-Driven Health AI. The other contributions to the panel came from Gopal Ramchurn on the challenges of responsible AI implementation in health and social care, Mary-Anne (“Annie”) Hartley on training a sovereign, fully open large language model from scratch, Claudia Seitz on the challenges and solutions in enabling AI for health innovation and access, and Zoltán Turbék on key messages for medical AI. The invitation came from Sameer Pujari and Ursula Zhao.
